The characters are well crafted, and the suspense is compelling. The only problem is the author's over-the-top political rants. If you can stomach the liberal bullshit, this book is really great. Highly recommended.

Supreme Justice is $4.99 for the kindle, but it was free when I downloaded it. Keep looking for bargains. This is a great book and I got it for free.
