Even though history is fixed in our universe, you have to follow this narrative to the end. Love, magic, betrayal, and death in large doses. Highly recommended.

Last Romanov is a historical novel. It's fiction, but a fascinating look at how Russia started down the road to socialism. It was free when I downloaded it. It's $7.39 now for the Kindle and Nook.
