Last Romanov - Mossanen, Dora Levy
Last Romanov is a historical novel. It's fiction, but a fascinating look at how Russia started down the road to socialism. It was free when I downloaded it. It's $7.39 now for the Kindle and Nook. Darya Borodino was orphaned as a young girl. She's taken in by the Romanov family and becomes the central figure in this book. This novel is slow at times, but you have to keep reading. Even though history is fixed in our universe, you have to follow this narrative to the end. Love, magic, betrayal, and death in large doses. Highly recommended.
