At the end of Awaken, Meghan and Colin Jacoby were battling Scratchers with their uncle. In Shifting the twins have been shifted, along with the Svoda Gypsies, into another dimension. There is no going back. Meghan and Colin will have to learn to survive in this new world where magic is normal. They both find they have talents and a past they weren't aware of. Another great young adult fantasy. Highly recommended.
