They threaten the entire world, not just Sespian's chance for the throne. More action, suspense, and humor. I lose more sleep over this series. Very highly recommended.

Forged in Blood I - Lindsay Buroker
Forged in Blood I is the sixth novel in the Emperor's Edge series. This one comes in two parts, and there are multiple simultaneous cliff hangers at the end. The only solution is to read the seventh novel!
