This book has lots of promise. The premise is great, and the characters are interesting. The problem is Talia's abundance of angst over boys. I could do with lots less introspection and lots more action, and not the kind of action Talia is constantly fantasizing about. Still, highly recommended.

Talented is the first novel in the Talented Saga series. This book is free for the kindle. More teenage angst than I'd prefer, but the story pulls you in.
