The Driver - Mark Dawson

The Driver is the third novel in the John Milton Series.

John made it out of Mexico. Now he's driving a taxi and hauling ice in San Francisco. John is content with his work and his meetings. Then John drives a pretty young woman to a party. It turns out the woman is a prostitute and the party is a setup. When the woman disappears John has to try and make it right. Before he's done making it right, a lot of people are dead. It's hard for John to atone for his past sins, when he keeps repeating them. Very highly recommended.
