Sam is a rippler, and when she realizes that Will, from her cross-country team, knows about her, Sam's whole life changes. There's plenty of adventure and suspense, and a big dose of danger in this tale. And of course no young adult novel would be without some romance. This is a great read. Even though I have to pay, I'll be reading the rest of the trilogy. Very highly recommended.
