The detours along the way are amazing, and the ending is extremely satisfying. Very highly recommended.

Shock Diamonds - E.R. Mason
Shock Diamonds is the sequel to Deep Crossing, which is the sequel to Fatal Boarding. Clearly there's a series here, and I really hope it continues to grow. These are all great books. The first two are free and Shock Diamonds is 99 cents.
